HOM has a Board of Directors consisting of representatives of member churches and members at large, including representatives of the Haitian Community in Southeast Michigan. 

Dr. Dominique Matthews, and her husband, the late Roger Mathews, were co-founders of HOM.  Dr. Matthews continues to hold the positions of Board Chair and President.

The Executive Committee, a 9-member subset of the Board, makes day-to-day decisions.
