There are several ways to get involved with Haiti Outreach Mission:
- Learn about Haiti and its people
- Participate in the annual HOM mission trip to Mirebalais
- Make a tax deductible contribution to HOM
- Become an active promoter and fundraiser for HOM
The annual mission trip visits Mirebalais each spring. It is made up of doctors, nurses and lay people who contribute their time, talent and travel expenses. 30-40 people from the U.S. are joined by doctors and medical students from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The mission focuses on medical help, but also provides education assistance to local schools, various construction projects and providing local school children with anti-parasite medicine and fluoride treatments.
